Iconic Aussie charity Royal Far West appoints acclaimed architects

Internationally-renowned architect, Glenn Murcutt AO, has been commissioned by 95-year-old Australian charity Royal Far West to design the Stage 2 masterplan for its beachfront headquarters at Manly.

Mr Murcutt will work closely with accomplished architect and designer, Angelo Candalepas of Candalepas Associates, to create a compelling and beautiful campus for Royal Far West, to allow the charity to grow its generous work for country kids in need and future-proof its service for the next 100 years. According to RFW CEO, Lindsay Cane AM, the vision is to deliver a beautifully integrated and innovative health and wellbeing “campus” that supports the charity’s work of bringing vulnerable country kids to the beach to receive specialist health services. Polymer was proud to assist Royal Far West with the announcement of this exciting news, securing extensive media coverage with a potential reach of over 20M people. In addition, Polymer is working with Royal Far West on the development of a communications strategy for the entire project, which is expected to take up to five years to complete.
