Royal Far West marks 100 years servicing the health of country children

From humble beginnings in 1924, Australian healthcare charity Royal Far West has celebrated 100 years of its mission to bring essential health services to children in remote areas.

On Thursday 5 December 2024, a special themed ceremony – “Feet in the sand, Hearts in the bush” – was held on Manly’s iconic South Steyne beachfront, where staff, friends and supporters gathered to celebrate this pioneering initiative.

Royal Far West’s vision is to bridge the healthcare gap and ensure that every child, regardless of their geographical location, receives access to high-quality medical care and support.

Now, as a specialist child development service, Royal Far West and its innovative programs have successfully reshaped how rural healthcare is delivered – combining face-to-face assessments with telehealth services, offering rural families the care, guidance and support they need to thrive. As a long-time consultant and supporter of Royal Far West, Polymer Studios would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the charity on this incredible milestone, and we wish them every success as they embark on their next 100 years.
