Aqualand is in the early stages of planning its first hotel and build-to-rent (BTR) project, following lodgement of a Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) request to construct a mixed-use tower at 132 Arthur Street, North Sydney.
Aqualand’s plans for the site include a 40-storey mixed-use tower featuring a 240-key hotel and approximately 225 BTR apartments, plus ground floor food and beverage offerings, and a hotel lobby and conference space.
The future hotel is expected to capitalise on North Sydney’s lack of mid-range hotel accommodation, while the BTR apartments will help alleviate Sydney’s restricted rental market.
The project is situated just 450 metres from North Sydney Station and 250 metres from the Victoria Cross Metro Station.
Polymer has been pleased to provide media outreach services for this exciting new project, which is further changing the face of North Sydney and marks Aqualand’s next major investment in the area, following the recent launch of AURA by Aqualand and the previously completed BLUE at Lavender Bay.
